Inventory includes much more than your locomotives and other rolling stock. Inventory also includes:

Track or Siding Segments, Divisions, Citytowns, Stops, Industries, Interchanges, and Buildings. MRRM administrative features include a configuration file, several methods to input or output most of the data tables in the database, a data integrity tester, and other administrative tools.

Operations & Maintenance provides:

a Waybill-based Traffic Generator of Train Manifests and related Operations documents. Waybill-based Traffic Generation includes Industry Activity, Train Rules, Traffic Documents, Traffic Generation and Sequencing, Dispatcher's Console, Tracking Rolling Stock by track segment and stop. Maintenance includes Problem Ticket Generation, Ticket Tracking, and Preventative Maintenance of Rolling Stock. MRRM also supports Bad Orders management.

Layout Automation:

extends inventory management to layout electronics and wiring, generates scripts to run trains while obeying turnouts and signals, manages DCC decoder data, and an interface to command your or other JMRI controlled layouts. MRRM interfaces with JMRI to perform many of the layout automation features.

Layout Control panels are display screen panels that are:

built using the JMRI Panel Editor. Formerly created using the panels editor and displayed on computer screens used by dispatchers, engineers or soft fascia panel users.
