Data Input and Output

Purpose:

The data input/ouput features of MRRM have several purposes. Chief among these are: Backup/Restore your database, Snapshot your sessions before/after, and use Another Program to compose or edit some of your data.

Screen Images:

The MRRM database consists of more than a hundred tables and a thousand variables. Some of these tables are shown in the next figure.

You may selectively output any of the listed tables in a "tab delimited" form to manipulate the data in another program. I typically use a spreadsheet program like MS Excel but it could be another database that you are familiar with or even the "Notepad" program that comes with MS Windows. If you preserve the structural integrity of these text files, even after making data changes, you can then import the text back into the MRRM database.
