Whenever a problem ticket is created or a progress changes is made, the history of the problem resolution can be tracked.
The following figure shows a sample of tracking a specific maintenance action. For any single ticket number, you can have an arbitrary number of status actions as repairs or other work proceed.
Each new log record is made unique by the date time of the change made to an original ticket record. No editing of the log is permitted.
The "Archive, Delete Ticket + Log Entries" button allows you to remove log entries from the database and put the records in a text file. You can read this archive with most text editor. The archive files provide a long term record of maintenance performed on your railroad.
You may also delete log entries selectively or clear the entire maintenance log.
This is a read only tabpage. You cannot directly add a new record to the log. Every time you edit the original ticket record, a new log entry is created and can be viewed on this tabpage.
You can preset the ticket numbers by manually modifying the ticket number in the "mrrm.ini" file.
