Purpose:

You may specify multiple buyers and sellers of any commodity. The buyer may or may not be on your layout. Ditto for the seller. MRRM will stochastically match a seller for each buyer order. A tool facilitates balancing overall buy-sell activity per commodity.

The figure shows that we have one Shipper/Seller of electronic components and two Consignee/Buyers. The Shipper and both Consignees are all working today.

Data Description:

Status - a Shipper or Consignee may be working or stopped. This status is changed on the industry activity tabpage.

Industry Capacity is the number of carloads, on average that the Shipper produces or the Consignee consumes in 120 hours (an arbitrary but fixed metric!)
