Purpose:

If you use MRRM in real time operations, the Dispatcher can select the next train to run and check it prior to permitting the Yardmaster to hand over the train to the Conductor. As the Conductors report in to the Dispatcher, the Dispatcher can maintain train location status from stop to stop along each train's schedule.
