Model Railroads can require a lot of control devices. This table is used to inventory each of them.
This table shows several of the turnout controllers used in my railroad. Notice that some control devices, like the Digitrax SE8c signal controller, often have multiple other functions. Each SE8c can control 32 signal heads but also 8 Tortoises and 8 BODs and 8 push buttons.
For the Team Digital SMD8 turnout controller we show that one of the ports, "outputs 1 and 2' is used to control 2 turnouts, numbers 257 and 258. Further pin 1 closes turnout #257, for example.
